The word Tara means ‘Star’ which symbolizes light. Goddess Tara holds the second significant position among all the ten Dus Mahavidyas(Wisdom Goddess). Therefore, Goddess Tara as ‘light’ is known to guide for conquering hurdles for attaining knowledge, and qualities of learning. Shree Tara Yantra should be installed and worshipped in order to set oneself free from sins and difficulties by the blessings of Durga Maa. She is also known as Neel Saraswati.
